After being hit with a lawsuit yesterday by KARA’s Seungyeon, Nicole, and Jiyoung, DSP Media released an official statement about their position on February 14th.

Through a press report, the agency stated,

“Because we were not delivered the accusation yet, we will speak with a lawyer once it is delivered and take the appropriate action then. Aside from the lawsuit, we will do our absolute best to ensure that KARA’s future activities are fulfilled.

Their claims of flawed income distribution is a huge distortion. All of the payments made by DSP Media were done according to their contracts, and this will be further confirmed through the process of the lawsuit.

The legal process has begun, and we hope that the three KARA members will refrain from making one-sided claims that are unconfirmed. DSP Media will also be refraining from making any statements outside of the legal discussion, like we have done thus far. We will be prioritizing KARA’s future, no matter the lawsuit. DSP Media will make sure that this controversy is resolved in an amicable matter.

Before the three members of KARA filed the lawsuit, we have made repeated attempts to resolve the situation. While we were looking forward to discussions and for misunderstandings to be resolved, the lawsuit has taken us by surprise.”

KARA's Nicole will not leave SBS Heroes

On the 30th, PD Park Sung Hoon assured fans through an interiew with Money Today that, “As everyone knows, Nicole was involved in many issues and was unable to film with us on the 31st. This, however, does not mean that Nicole will leave the program.”

Because we watched these programs in this manner, we started to gradually use English as well…If you regard English as a fun subject, rather than a hard one, you probably will be able to cultivate your English skills easier.”

SM Entertainment added, “Key and Nicole are so close that they fool around even on camera. To our knowledge, the two meet often to talk and drink tea.”

When Nicole was asked when she felt that she was becoming old, she responded that she did not know her mother's age and that because her mother wanted to stay young, she did not tell anyone, even her own daughter Nicole, her age.

One time, Nicole asked her mother what her age was because of her curiosity, and she responded "You don't have to know!" and continued to hide her age from Nicole.

One day, when Nicole found out that her mother is the same age as the actor Park JoonGyu, she searched up the actor in the internet to find his age.

Then, as Nicole became more and more curious, Nicole's mother told her to just leave her alone about her age. Even now, Nicole knows her mother's birthday but not her age.

Nicole stated, “I went on the diet after a statement a male idol told me, which got me determined.”

Continuing on, Nicole shocked the guests of Strong Heart when she revealed, “Last year, before Mister promotions, I kept thinking that I had to go on my diet but never actually did. But then a male idol singer saw me and said, ‘When exactly are you going to lose weight?’ I got scarred by his question and started my diet. KARA Nicole said 'Really hard to life in Korean'

Nicole of Kara talked about how hard it was for her to adjust to Korea when she moved there from Los Angeles. On an episode of Mnet Nicole the Entertainer's Introduction to Veterinary Science, she started to tear up talking about the hard experience.

While playing a game with her celebrity look-alike friends, she lost and they made her talk about the hardest time in her life.

Nicole said,

I was born and raised in America and when I first came to Korea, the differences were so huge I didn't even contact my old friends. I went to one of my American friend's online networking page and the friend looked so happy in their picture with their friends. I was thinking about how I was all alone and it was so hard for me to cope with that. I met some really great friends in Korea but but until then, I had no one to enjoy happiness nor sadness with except for my family.

KARA Nicole's hate life in college?

Nicole of Kara has been attending college and enjoying her new student life. She's been having a hard time since she has faced many acceptances and rejections and because she doesn't understand the lessons taught due to her poor grasp of Korean. On today's episode of Mnet Nicole the Entertainer's Introduction to Veterinary Science, she decided to build more of a social life in school, but it didn't bring out the best in her.

She decided to join a club and after agonizing over which one to join, she finally picked the badminton club. During the first night after she joined, the club members all decide to go out and and have some fun. She went to a restaurant where they all drank alcohol and, although the filming doesn't show her drinking anything, it's arguably implies. Also, netizens are upset because she is still underage and thus didn't think it was appropriate. Later, she cuts class to go to an amusement park with two boys. Eun Jung of Jewelry told Nicole that cutting class is something you have to experience in college. That might be the fun part of college, but who says it on national television?

Nicole had a very long histology class and during break, she ran out and cut class.

KARA's Nicole has been chosen as the star on the third season of Mnet's program "KAIST." KAIST (Korean Advanced Institute of Science and Technology) is a prestigious technical school in South Korea and the show's premise is basically having camera's following her around as Nicole attends school. As many know, Nicole is from America and English being her first language, it might be difficult for her to study in Korean in a Korean University.
