2AM Jo Kwon finally confessed 'Im not dating with Ga In'

A few days ago, 2AM’s Jo Kwon elated the “We Got Married” fandom with his confession about dating Brown Eyed Girls‘ Ga-In. As it turns out, he really was just goofing off - MBC’s “First Time in My Life“ decided to use a little snippet of his confession in their preview to draw in more viewers.
On the episode that aired on January 12th, the guests (including 2AM) started to discuss Jo Kwon and Ga-In’s relationship.

In a corner where they had to reveal each other’s sins/wrong-doings, Jinwoon pointed out, “Jo Kwon and Ga-In are a married couple on “We Got Married”, but are twin siblings on “All My Love“.”
MC Jung Hyun Don said, “I heard that they are dating in real life,” to which Jo Kwon replied, “Yeah, we’re dating.”

The 2AM members played along with it and surprised the two MCs. Byun Ki Soo bursted out, “Writers, why don’t you get ready? Why don’t we have any kind of information? Are you really dating? Let’s get rid of this corner.” Jo Kwon then said, “Ay, we’re not dating.”
MC Gil said, “What is stopping you guys from dating? Does she have a flaw?” Jo Kwon answered, “We really have grown close together so we feel like siblings. There is no flaw. I have a lot to do with 2AM and my wife is very busy as well. I don’t know…”

'Adam Couple' their last broadcast date will be on 15th January

After announcing that the ‘Adam couple’ were concluding their run on the show, representatives of MBC’s “We Got Married” have revealed the final broadcast date for Jo Kwon and Ga-In.

The representative revealed, “This week’s episode, scheduled for January 8th, will not feature the Adam Couple. The episode will consist of only the Jung Yonghwa and Seohyun couple, and the Nichkhun and Victoria couple because there is not enough footage for the Adam Couple. Their last broadcast date will be on January 15th.”

The producers are currently in the final stages of editing the couple’s last segment.

When it was announced that the ‘Adam Couple‘ from MBC’s ”We Got Married” was going to conclude its run on the show, many were puzzled over the reasons for the decision. It was recently revealed that Ga-In wanted to withdraw from “We Got Married” so that she could better focus on her other activities.

Ga-In is currently shooting for the daily sitcom, “All My Love“, which requires her to film 3-4 days a week. She’s also been working closely with the Brown Eyed Girls to prepare for their February comeback. Considering her obligations to “We Got Married”, Ga-In has been working in all three major areas of the entertainment industry – variety shows, acting, and music. Her schedule became so crammed, that her Christmas wish last year was “to be able to sleep more.”

But with “We Got Married” being her breakthrough role into the entertainment industry, her decision to leave the show was not an easy one to make. Ever since she joined the variety show with 2AM’s Jo Kwon in September of 2009, the couple has been receiving immense support from all viewers, not to mention experiencing individual boosts in popularity.

There’s a final component to her decision, however. Ga-In also felt the need to show a new image as an entertainer. The fact that the general public saw her as ‘Jo Kwon’s wife’ burdened her a little, and made her yearn for new ventures.

So when will Ga-In film her last episode with Jo Kwon?

A representative from the show stated, “We haven’t decided when they will film the last episode. We need to match with the flow of the program, so it doesn’t mean they will stop broadcasting from next week onwards. We are currently refining the details with the producers.”

Brown Eyed Girls' GaIn falling in love with 2AM Jokwon

During a recent recording of Happy Birthday, Brown Eyed Girls’ Ga-In revealed that Jo Kwon might think they’re actually dating.

She started out by talking about marriage, “I think because I’ve been a part of a fake marriage, dating seems childish. Marriage feels like real love.”

She added, “I’m not good at expressing myself so I’m always sorry to Jo Kwon. So when I drink a little, I always call Jo Kwon and talk to him with aegyo. Whenever I do that, I have a feeling he thinks we’re really dating.”

She continued, “My real ideal type is someone I can lean on like a father but because I’m part of this fake marriage, I’ve been leaning a lot on Jo Kwon. I don’t think the age difference matters.”

Singers Jo Kwon and Jung YongHwa will be the new MCs on SBS Inkigayo.

It has been announced that 2AM Jo Kwon and C.N Blue Jung YongHwa will take the places as the new MCs to Inkigayo together with current MC Sulli from 18th July.

An official from the production team for Inkigayo told MTStarNews on 11th July, “Jo Kwon and Jung YongHwa will be the new MCs for Inkigayo.”

This follows the leaving of MCs TaecYeon and WooYoung on the show on 11th July.

On MBC Come To Play aired on 7th June, the Adam Couple from We Got Married were guest appearances on the show, and Jo Kwon revealed his feelings towards GaIn.

Jo Kwon said, “I will miss GaIn noona when she goes overseas for filming or when our filming got pushed back. When I miss her, I will send her text messages. But I will also receive a text message from noona who said that she also misses me.”

GaIn then added, “Though we will meet up even if it is not for filming, it is weird that we don’t say things like this to each other. Like how the Avatars are connected mechanically in the movie ‘Avatar’, it seems the same for ‘We Got Married’. It seems that we can only meet through ‘We Got Married’.”


During the show that day, Jo Kwon also revealed, “Even if I am dating some other girl, I will not be able to go to the places I have gone with GaIn.”

And regarding his first love ‘Oh BangShil’, Jo Kwon revealed, “There were people who said that she is an imaginary character, she is actually real and had liked me.”

Last autumn, the couple released the duet ‘We Fell In Love’ and it was #1 up on various online music charts and was hailed as a hit song. And the couple will work together with the composer and lyricist of the song ‘We Fell In Love’ this time round again.

The song ‘We Fell In Love’ is composed by hit maker Lee MinSoo (who produced many hits for Brown Eyed Girls like ‘Abracadabra’ and ‘Sign’ etc). And there is great anticipation for the song ‘We Fell In Love 2′ which features Lee MinSoo and lyricist Kim EeNa.

2AM Jo Kwon and GaIn on MBC We Got Married has finally had their first kiss.

The 2nd part to the couple’s visit to Hong Kong was aired on the show on 22nd May. Jo Kwon, who did not have any experience in relationships is seen getting the chance of skinship as the make-believe couple progresses through the show. And during the parade they participated in Hong Kong, the 2 of them had a special performance lined up and Jo Kwon planned to finally get his first kiss with GaIn.

But in front of so many people at the parade, the 2 of them were too shy and failed to performed their mission. In reluctance, the 2 of them returned to their dorm, and GaIn did an event for Jo Kwon. With Valentine’s Day just round the corner, she prepared a ‘chocolate *bbo-bbo’ with her lips covered with chocolate.

The 2 in the end had the little ‘bbo bbo’ in front of Jo Kwon’s room, and it was on the cheeks.

Jo Kwon said in his interview, “Even though it was a shame that it was not on the lips, I was really touched by the event. I thought I know GaIn, but I guess I don’t know what kind of person she is. I want to know her more.”

‘Adam Couple’ Jo Kwon and GaIn go to Indonesia Bali together

The made-believed married couple for MBC We Got Married is known to have left Korea on 10th May and landed in Indonesia on the morning of 11th May. The couple will stay there until the 14th.

The reason for their trip there is to do their wedding photoshoot. The 2 also went to HongKong for their first overseas shooting in February. But back then, because of their busy schedule, they only did a filming without any rest time.

But for this time, they have the luxury of 5 days for this photoshoot.

2AM Jokwon 'Park Jin Young didn't like the way I was singing'

On a recent episode of KBS’s Happy Together 3, 2AM’s Jo Kwon said that he thinks about none other than JYP (Park Jin Young) when he sings ballad songs.

Jo Kwon explained, “When we (2AM) were recording the title song for our 1st album, Park Jin Young didn’t like the way I was singing so I ended up singing two lines of the song over and over again for 11 hours.”

Jo Kwon continued, “After recording, I expected a warm appraisal such as ‘You worked hard,’ but instead he said, ‘Now you finally realize why you still weren’t able to debut until now?’ and I became very shocked at his cold words!”

On the most recent episode of We Got Married, Ga-In showed up with a cast on her left arm. This shocked 2AM’s Jo Kwon, her on-screen husband. It turns out that the female idol got hurt while during a game she was playing on a sports variety show.

Jo Kwon said, “I knew she was hurt because she told me once when we contacted each other. I was really shocked and worried for her.”

Since she couldn’t use that arm, the episode showed Jo Kwon taking extra care of Ga-In. He put her slippers on and gave her water as if she was a princess.

Jo Kwon even presented his wife his handmade couple ring for Ga-In but she was not pleased. She said, “Even Gollum wouldn’t like it.” Ouch! But isn’t Ga-In Jo Kwon’s “my precious”?

2AM's Jo Kwon confessed that after 8 years of dance training, he really wanted to dance on stage.

During their performance at Seoul's Sangamdong CJ E&M Center on the 18th, 2AM was able to showcase their dancimg skills with their first performance of their new song 'I Did Wrong' on M Countdown. This was 2AM's, who is orginally a ballad group, first dance song.

2AM was nervous because of what they believed people were expecting from their first performance. After their photoshoot in the afternoon, Jo Kwon told Star News, "Dancing is so much fun. After practicing dance for 8 years as a trainee, I really wanted to dance."

He also stated, "Seulong hyung is good, but Changmin hyung and Jinwoon never learned how to dance before. However, they stayed up and practiced for hours." "I don't know what kind of response we'll get from our fans, but we're having fun."

Jo Kwon said he was "especially happy to dance" and "I want to receive love following in G.O.D sunbae's footsteps."

And finally he stated, "Of course, dancing while singing live is not as easy as one thinks. But while recording we were able to do our live stage well. Our singing will not be comprimised because of our dance." and "Please remember that we're new [to dancing]."

WGM Couple GaIn & JoKwon's Hong Kong trip: "It's not a break-up vacation"

2AM'S JoKwon and Brown Eyed Girls' GaIn, who are currently in a mock married relationship on MBC's 'We Got Married,' recently visited Hong Kong for a couples' vacation on the 13th for four days and three nights.
