Singer Kim Dong Wan recently teased about Shinhwa’s future comeback!

Appearing on the March 1st episode of “Strong Heart“, the Shinhwa member was asked the question, “When will Shinhwa be one again?“. He responded, “We are all going to be together in 2012“.

Dong Wan explained, “We are all working hard to be able to perform on stage again soon“. The MCs were skeptical, and so they pressed, “Is it a promise or just a false hope?“.

Dong Wan smiled, “This is a promise“.

Shinhwa is the longest-running boy band in K-pop history, as they have yet to disband. Out of its six members, three are currently serving in the army.

Shinhwa Shin Hye Sung said sorry to his fans for excessive gambling

On the 7th, right before his upcoming Japan concert, vocalist Shin Hye Sung met the public and said, “I’m truly sorry about disappointing those who loved and cared for me by doing something really stupid and behaving in a way I should not have.”

He explained, “I thought taking a break would be the best thing to do so I tried to delay the release as much as possible but it still seems to have been released pretty quickly. Even after releasing I did not feel very comfortable about it.”

Last year, Shin Hye Sung took some time off after the incident and returned to fans with a more mature form of himself. He again apologized to fans and close friends for his actions and truthfully revealed, “This was the most fearful and scary time for me throughout my 12 years as a celebrity.”

Jung Hyung Don and Junjin were hospitalised cause food poisoning

After Park Myung Soo was recently hospitalised for acute Hepatitis A, belated news broke out that fellow Infinite Challenge (IC) members Jung Hyung Don and Junjin were also hospitalised for food poisoning and esophagitis respectively.

Jung Hyung Don was hospitalised on 16th June after he experienced abdominal pains and a high fever after an IC filming session. A spokesperson from his management agency said, “He was diagnosed with food poisoning. After resting, he recovered very quickly. There were no other problems in terms of his health, and his filming schedule wasn’t affected at all.”

Junjin was also hospitalised to receive treatment for esophagitis on 13th June.

ShinHwa,Hyesung spent a lot of money for Junjin

Shinhwa member Shin Hyesung had previously mentioned that he has already spent a total of about some 10 million won (approx USD10,000) on drinking because of Junjin.

During the recording for the 16th June episode of MBC Every1’s “It’s The Age Of Flower Boys”, Junjin admitted that what Shin Hyesung said was the truth.

Junjin said, “I’ve never forced him to pay, but he always insists on paying,” before adding with some unhappiness, “Only Shin Hyesung puts me down in front of others.”

He also talked about how he had a zero balance in his bank account and some interesting experiences related to cars.

In addition, he talked about why he doesn’t have much to say on MBC variety show ‘Infinite Challenge’ when asked by MC Lee Ji Hoon. Junjin however, did prove his wit and speaking skills in verbal exchanges with the MCs.

He added, “I’ve learnt a great deal from the IC hyungs about politics, economics and culture”, arousing the MCs’ curiosity with such a surprising statement.

ShinHwa,Jun Jin,holds fanmeeting at Japan before he go to military service

Singer Jun Jin (29) holds mini-concert fanmeeting at the Tokyo Convention Hall prior to his mandatory military service.

Over 1,000 fans attended the event. Jun Jin performed 9 songs, including the title song "Hey Ya" and "Like a Fool" from his new mini-album "Fascination released last month.

In addition, while sharing talks with fans, he took measurements of his body, for those fans who wanted to give him a suit as a present. As far as the Seoul concert is concern Jun Jin said: " Although, we dont have a date set yet, I want you all to come".

When the official event was finished and after a draw was made, some lucky fans and fanclub members, were chosen to enjoy dinner jointly with Jun Jin at a Korean Restaurant

More about Dream Concert 2009 will be held in Sang Am

2009 Dream Concert will be held in SangAm stadium instead of JamSil stadium.

This will be the 15th anniversary for the annual Kpop event and will be held on 10th October in SangAm WorldCup Stadium. And the title to the concert will be ‘Loving Korea 2009 Dream Concert’. And it will not only be an event for teenagers and their idols but it aims to be also an event for the whole family to enjoy.

All this while, Dream Concert has been an annual event aimed at giving hope and dreams for teenagers, seeing about 70,000 fans every year.

Last year, we saw the performances by 20 teams: Dong Bang Shin Ki, Super Junior, SS501, Epik High, So Nyeo Shi Dae, MC Mong, Jewelry, WonderGirls, Miya, Typhoon, ShinHwa etc.

And this year it has been said that big stars like Big Bang and Dong Bang Shin Ki will be performing.

Jun Jin,limited edition mini album 'Fascination' was released

Jun Jins mini album "Fascination" has received an overwhelming response.

On May 27, Jun Jin Management company, Open World stated that they have received pressure from retailers to reprint more copies of the mini-album.

Open World stated that minialbum"Fascination" is a high value collectible and is limited to 10,000 serialized copies only and there arent any plans of to produce addtitional copies. However, additional order requests from retailers have not stopped.

Open World have concidered, producing unserialized copies for regular sale and not as a special edition.

Released on January 19, all 10,000 pre-ordered copies were sold out.

JUN JIN MINI ALBUM RECEIVED OVERWHELMING REQUESTS FOR ADDITIONAL PRODUCTION..

After the overwhelming response from fans, and the sell out of Jun Jin Limited edition mini-album "Fascination", is being concidered the production of additional copies for general sale.

On May 19, Jun Jin Limited Edition mini-album "Fascination" was released and each copy contains a serial number from 0 to 10,000. Due to the great demand from retailers to reprint the mini-album, the new copies will not have a serial number, so the new production is a special Gift to the fans, and overseas fans that are demanding the additonal production.

Jun Jin Management company, Open World announced they will make an announcement as how many more copies will be made, but do not secure the amount material or if they will produce additional copies for sale.

Shinhwa JunJi,injured his toe during rehearsal

Shinhwa member Junjin has once again suffered another injury just days before his comeback performance.

Junjin had injured his toe during a recent dance rehearsal for his music video, and a form of tetanus had injured the nerves in his toe. A spokesperson for Junjin had said, “The nerves were damaged”, a sign of the seriousness of the injury.

Junjin underwent surgery on the afternoon of 6th May to put a stop to the increasing pain, as he aggravated his injury during the practice sessions.

After his surgery, Junjin met with some reporters and he said, “I was already injured, but it seemed to have worsened when I was practising. I took some painkillers and carried on with the MV filming on 5th May, but as the pain increased, I had to undergo surgery.”

Junjin had also injured his wrist recently, and not long after he had also injured his ankle, but he insisted on carrying on with his scheduled activities. “No matter how painful it is, even if I have to be in a cast, I’ll still go on stage.”

During the filming for the bobsledding special for MBC’s Infinite Challenge in early January, he had suffered a cracked shoulder blade, and news of his wrist injury came about just days before his comeback, prompting rumors such as “this is to delay enlistment” and “this is a publicity stunt”. This is why Junjin said that he will bear with the pain and carry on preparing for his comeback.

During a filming session for ‘Infinite Challenge’ on 30th April, Junjin had aggravated his wrist injury, and after diagnosis his injury will require surgery and take a further 6 weeks to heal. Despite that Junjin has still kept up with his busy schedule.

“I don’t want to let down the fans who have been waiting, so I’ll still make my comeback as scheduled even if I’m in a cast.”

Shin Hyesung,his knee was hurt during fan photograph

Shinhwa member Shin Hyesung fell and hurt himself during the first concert of his “2009 Shin Hyesung Keep Leaves Tour in Seoul” at Ewha Women’s University on 2nd May. About 2,800 fans attended the concert.

Shin Hyesung was re-entering the stage during the fan photograph segment, but unfortunately got his foot wedged between the steps and fell. A spokesperson from his management agency said, “He escaped the crisis of a fracture and continued with the concert. However, his knee was hurt.” Shin Hyesung had continued with his performance despite a slight limp.

After ending the Seoul leg of the concert, Shin Hyesung will continue with the tour in Busan on 31st May; Taiwan and Singapore in July; Shanghai, Osaka and Tokyo in August. He will also be releasing a special album in Korea in June and embark on promotional activities.

Andy Cant touch with Shinwha Members?

Shinhwa member who has emerged as an actor revealed that he is not able to get in touch with the other group members.

On the 28th, Andy attended the SBS press conference for the drama "Two Wives" in Seoul Mokdong. He was asked what the other members thought of him returning to acting after 4 years. He replied, "I can't get in touch with members."

Andy said, "I haven't done anything wrong to the members. When we get together to have drinks, I readily pay. However, I can't get in touch with them. When I call them, their phones are turned off." He said smiling, "I would like to take this opportunity to say something to them. Please get in touch with me."

In "Two Wives", Andy will be taking on the role of Yoon Nam Joon and will be romantically involved with Jo Mi Mi (portrayed by Lee Yoo Jin). Returning to drama after 4 years made his heart tremble. He said, "Four years ago, I was in front of the camera knowing nothing. I have regrets during that time of not being able to do better (as an actor). Now, I am with many senior actors and am learning a lot. I am grateful and gather strength from them."

Part 2:Sparkling concert in seoul-Spring

Sparkling Concert in Seoul-Spring part 2 concert performance took place on 12th April in Seoul Olympics Park.

For this concert performance, performing artistes were Dong Bang Shin Ki, SHINee, ShinHwa Lee Min Woo, Yuri .

Andy: Music Bank was where we got our first #1 as Shinhwa

KBS2’s Music Bank will celebrate its 500th episode on 26th Feb, after it was first aired on 16th June 1998. In these 10 years, the show has seen many MCs come and go, and also singers that have more years of experience than the show itself.

As a program that has been an integral part of the music scene for 10 years, singers are all aware of the upcoming 500th episode too. Andy of Korea’s longest-running group Shinhwa shares his feelings about Music Bank’s upcoming 500th episode.

On 18th Feb, Andy told Star News, “To the singers on stage, Music Bank is a stage that helps them to realize their potential, and dreams of performing. It’s also a valuable experience for the newcomers too.”

Andy also added, “Music Bank was where Shinhwa got our first #1, and that was the first time we cried on stage too.”

On 8th June 1999, Shinhwa scored their first #1 since their debut for T.O.P, the title track of Shinhwa’s 2nd album.

Jumper, the new duo groomed by Andy himself, who also produced for them, also had their debut performance on Music Bank. Andy said, “The Jumper boys couldn’t believe that they were really on stage. I was really happy to see them standing on stage.”

Newly dubbed producer, Andy, revealed some sad stories from his early Shinhwa days on a show called "Let Me Sleep Over Just Tonight" (Nice Name) on MBC. This oddly titled show in a nutshell is basically celebrities having a heart-to-heart bonding session during a slumber party at each other's houses.

Andy had a little cry-fest describing his hidden pains as a rapper. One sad incident for him was when he and Eric were given "rap" parts for a song. The parts were more like non-important little ad-libs in the background. He broke down recounting this story of how their manager told them that those parts were just perfect for them. Devastated, the two hid in a closet in their room and drank their sorrows away like any true blooded Korean would.

For ten years, Andy had only been known as a rapper. He said that his dream came true when he released his first solo album, the dream for him to be able to actually sing. Then he went on to be a husband to that bobblehead Solbi, now he's a producer and soon to be military man. Andy shall overcome.
