Wonder Girls Set for Comeback !

JYP reveals that it might be time for Wonder Girls to return to the KPop scene!

Since releasing “2 Different Tears,” about half a year ago, the girls went on tour in Asia and performing a couple of awesome shows in America! Using his Twitter account, Park Jin Young revealed that he had written a song for the girls and had got some producers working on new material.

“Just wrote a new Wonder Girls song while shooting Dream High. So excited cuz I think it’s PRETTY good…Get ready girls!

“I’m the most low-profile among the musicians and producers making the WG’s new album. So get ur hopes up and hold tight everyone!”

It’s going to be an exciting few months ahead as we wait for WG’s return. Stay tuned for more details.

Recently, in an interview with Newsen, Miss A revealed that “ Before HyeRim join Wonder Girls as their new member, she is ready to debut as one of the member in Miss A”. Before Jia and Fei debut, including HyeRim and other trainees, they prepare to debut together this summer. In the music industry, they have a nickname called “ China Wonder Girls “ that have helped them to gain some popularity.

Jia and Fei said “ before debut, a few members including HyeRim prepare to debut in a group”,”After HyeRim joined Wonder Girls, current member Min and Suzy joined us.”

Miss A, a multinational Girl Group which consist of Korean members, Min and Suzy and Chinese members, Jia and Fei were being trained by JYPE, but they signed their contract with JYPE sub label, AQ Entertainment. They will soon be comparing with JYPE’s representative girl group, Wonder Girls. Now, there’s already fans discussing the pros and cons of Wonder Girls and Miss-A’s who are working under the same company.

Wonder Girls Sunye's father had passed away [R.I.P]

We reported earlier that Sunye’s father who was suffering from a long term illness had passed away.

Sunye has been at her father’s funeral wake since early morning of June 24th at the Asan Medical Center.

At around 11:10am, one could hear a hymn coming out of the room that Sunye was in. Sunye, who is a devoted Christian, sang with all her heart, and one could hear her genuine emotions of sadness in her hymn.

The wake will take place for three days and on June 26th, Sunye’s father will finally come to rest at the Christian Gold Park.

A representative of JYPE said, “Sunye is going through a very difficult time because her love for her father was exceptional. She cried a lot so she is physically weak as well. We will discuss about Sunye’s schedules and tours at a later date.”

Jo Kwon, Sunmi, Park Kyung Lim and husband, Park Shin Hye have visited the wake to give their condolences. The other Wonder Girls’ concerts in Hawaii from 25 – 26th June have been postponed to 16 – 17th July.

WonderGirls Yoobin's the most different when in front of guys

The WonderGirls reveal that member YooBin changes in front of guys.

The WonderGirls were recently no KBS 2TV Happy Together 3 when they were asked “Which member is the most different when in front of guys?” and they picked YooBin.

YeEun said, “When in front of guys, YooBin will give her smiling eyes exceptionally more often. And the way she speaks also changes, she speaks in a lower voice.”

SoHee continued, “YooBin not only does a lot of smiling eyes in front of guys, she also don’t have any gestures and changes to be become more feminine.” She then did a demostration of how YooBin will behave in front of guys, and ended with an apologetic smile.

YeEun then said, “New member HyeRim is also very different in front of guys. When she brings out CDs and autographes, she will choose her best photos to sign on.”

WonderGirls YooBin reveals Park JinYoung’s eating habits.

On KBS 2TV Happy Together 3 aired on 10th June, Park MyungSoo had asked the girls, “Does JinYoung bring you all to good restaurants in New York?” Ye Eun revealed, “We go often. But we eat with Park JinYoung and the food comes in little portions, we will have to go for another meal amongst ourselves again after that.”

YeEun also revealed that Park JinYoung is a vegetarian, “He usually only eat seafood. And he don’t eat steak.” Also YooBin added, “But when Park JinYoung is drunk, he can eat a whole chicken.”

Wonder Girls SoHee received bashing comments because of her eye makeup.

WonderGirls SoHee talks about the misunderstanding she received for her eyeliner makeup.

The WonderGirls were on KBS Happy Together Season 3 aired on 11th June when the MCs asked SoHee, “Your eye makeup is such that the eyeliner goes up to the eye lids.”

SoHee then said shyly, “I had received bashing comments on that. On news reports about me, I’ve seen comments like ‘Did you do that makeup because you wanted double eyelids’ and I was very hurt by that.”

Meanwhile, on the show the members pick YooBin as the member who looks the most different when without makeup.

On KBS 2TV Yoo HeeYeol’s Sketchbook aired on 5th June, the WonderGirls were guest appearances and SoHee was asked about plastic surgery. And her answer was, “I have confidence (I don’t need it).”

On Yoo HeeYeol’s question ‘If you are to do plastic surgery, which part of you do you wish to do the most?”, and her answer was, “I have confidence in myself.” Then she added, “Just joking. The part I wish to have plastic surgery on the most is….” and she pondered. Then the other members said, “Ankle” and she followed with their answer “Ankle”.

The girls were recently on SBS Family Outing 2 and they were featured having a pillow fight during their vacation to KangWonDo YangGoo BaeGgop Village. The girls aimed their unhappiness at 2PM TaecYeon.

YeEun then said, “2PM has never once gave us their CDs from when their 1st album came out till now. In the States, through the broadcast shows, we heard a lot of about how they have revealed that they had like So Nyeo Shi Dae more than us. We also like Big Bang more,”

Wonder Girls leave a video message to SunMi

WonderGirls send a video message to member SunMi who left the group recently to further her studies.

The girls were featured for an interview on SBS ‘One Night TV Entertainment’ on 3rd June where they said in a video message to SunMi, “Let’s be together forever.”

YooBin said, “We got to see SunMi since she is in Korea as well, and we gave each other encouragement. SunMi also shows support for our stage. No matter where, be it in Korea or the States, let’s continue to keep in touch and depend on each other as unnies and dongsaengs. Let’s be together forever.”

Meanwhile, the WonderGirls wrapped up their promotions in Korea just 2 weeks after their comeback and will prepare for their upcoming American concert tour.

Wonder Girls' Sohee ' I prefer acting than appearing on variety shows'

On the episode of Win Win that aired today, the whole group was asked why they don’t appear much on variety programs. They said, “We used to go on variety shows, but then JYP said that it wasn’t for us. He told us to just practice our singing and dancing. We were that bad on variety shows.”

Sohee added, “Whenever I would go on variety programs, my parts would be edited out for the final episode. I only react, I don’t say anything. I don’t match well with variety shows. When all the singers go on stage at the end of a music program, I always stand in the back. I’m like that. Acting is more comfortable for me than variety shows.”
