Kim Tae Woo want to retire when he turn 45 years old

On February 28th, singer Kim Tae Woo guested on SBS’s “Night After Night” and revealed the approximate date of his retirement.

He stated, “My dream is to retire on December 31st of the year I turn 45 years old.”

When asked to explain why, he continued, “I want to try both producing and composing music right now, but I’d like to first ensure that I’ll retire as an amazing singer when I turn 45.”

MC Tak Jae Hoon, who had listened quietly to his confession, caused to studio to roar with laughter after he commented, “So that means you want to stay around for another 15 years. That’s pretty long.”

Kim Tae Woo and Son Ho Young will be holding their first concert together in America and Canada.

The two have actually received many love calls from fans abroad but due to their busy schedule and their own solo promotions, they have been unable to reply. However, after Kim Tae Woo and Son Ho Young’s individual promotions ended last year, they discovered the fact that they both had lots of space space in their schedules. Thus, the duo decided to band together and meet their international fans.

All through the month of February, the two will be traveling from the east to the west then straight up north. They’ll be in the States starting off in Chicago, Illinois at the Skokie Performing Arts Center on the 12th. After that, the will perform in Seattle, Washington on the 19th~20th at the King Cat Theater and then wrap it up by crossing state lines and going into Canada, where they’ll be performing at the Vogue Theater on the 26th~27th in Vancouver, British Columbia.

On the upcoming episode of Sang Sang Plus, Kim Tae Woo reportedly reveals,

“Not long after my release from the military, the PD of the show came to me and asked to think about being a permanent cast on a variety show with seven other girls from idol groups … Even after hearing that I’ll be alongside 7 girl group members, I couldn’t decide whether to accept the offer or not. But after I heard that Girls Generation’s Yuri would be on the show, I decided to become a permanent cast right away.”

The PD was asked by people why he chose Kim Tae Woo after that. He stated, “He seemed the most suitable to not get into any scandals.”

Kim Taewoo song 'Love Rain' will be featured in the OST,IRIS

His song is titled Dreaming Dream (꿈을 꾸다) and will be released on November 11 through the drama and music portal sites. Dreaming Dream is composed by Lee Hyun Seung, who composed the past two songs Love Of Iris and Do Not Forget from IRIS. Kim Tae Woo's song will be used as the theme song for character Kim Hyun Joon, played by actor Lee Byung Hun. Unlike the other IRIS OST tracks, this song will not be a love song and will portray an atmosphere of betrayal that goes along with the problems Kim Hyun Joon has to face.
