Big Bang Gdragon will no longger smashing a guitar on stage

YG Entertainment revealed that this week’s episode of SBS’s “Inkigayo” will be the last of the guitar smashing, and reasoned, “We can’t show the same performance every time. We’re currently planning something new to take the place of the guitar performance. It’ll be a new choreography, we won’t be breaking anything else.”

The guitar performance was said to have begun as G-Dragon‘s idea for the acoustic segment of the song. After listening, he asked himself, “Should I just break it?”

When asked about the guitars that were broken, and whether they were new, YG officials responded, “They are, of course, new. Before every stage, we bought new guitars, and each are worth about $150 USD.”

A mother said thank you to Big Bang Gdragon cause save her child

I am someone who went to Big Show.

I went to the first concert(Day 1) with my family and we were on the 3rd floor.
During the concert, my child suddenly said he/she(gender was not specified) had to go to the restroom, so we went out and were on our way back when the stairway leading back up(to the 3rd floor) was crowded. And with no other choice, I carried my child and just waited at the bottom of the staircase for it to clear up.

Just then, I realized that Big Bang was on the third floor, running around the pathways for their performance.

I think it might have been G-Dragon who came back down(to the 2nd floor)and passed by us, but it was so out of control I couldn’t really remember if it was him or another member. Anyway, after whichever member had passed by me and my child, all the fans that were crowded on the staircase came rushing down(to follow the member). My child and I fell, but more like my body got turned and fell forward.



After losing control of everything for a while after that, all I could do was look for my child and get together again. I was just glad that my child was all right after the mob had broken us up and stomped all over us; I even had to look for my child’s shoe that got lost. I gave my child, who seemed a bit shocked, a hug before sending him back to our seats… I couldn’t go back with him/her because my legs were feeling too shaky after the whole incident, but I went and joined my family after a while.

I think I was too worried about what happened to my child and went into a tiny shock.

I had lost all control of myself at that moment that I didn’t even realize what had truly happened until today when my friend had said to me, “A lot of people were talking about you online for the past few days. I wasn’t sure if it was really you, but after asking them what happened, I knew it was about you.”

It turns out that there were a few other fans who were at the concert to witness what had happened to me and my child and wrote about it on their own blogs. I found the actual blog and I’m copying & pasting the exact account here:

“Yeah, GD helped the kid up.. even GD was jammed/caught by the fans, too.. GD couldn’t even get himself up, but he tried really hard just to help the little kid get back up.. The bodyguards ran up to GD to help him up, but instead of trying to get their help, he signalled them with his hands, telling them to save the little boy. But when the bodyguards ignored it and kept trying to help only him up, GD just kept holding onto the kid, not letting him go. Then, when the trashcan next to the child was about to fall on top of the kid, GD blocked it with his own hand and held the kid tight. I still remember the expression on GD’s face….. it was so

 peculiar… every time I think about his face at that moment, it touches me so much and it makes a part of my heart sting…. After GD had finally gotten up and left, the child’s mom finally found her kid and hugged him so tightly… the mom was probably really scared.. But anyways, GD… you are, indeed, a man of perfection… I witnessed this whole thing with my friend and even she said GD’s face was like the face of an angel… of course, GD always looks like an angel in my eyes, but my friend isn’t even a fan of Big Bang who would ever say anything nice about them and she only went to the concert because I begged her, keke… if only anyone had recorded that moment, everyone can see how angellic he was.. kind of sad it wasn’t recorded..”

Even though he was buried under all those fans.. even though he couldn’t help himself up, he managed to help my child.. without getting his bodyguards’ help, he saved my child instead.. and even blocked the trashcan from falling on top of him/her.

And there I was, the whole time, not having a clue about what really happened. All I cared about was getting up and finding my child. After seeing what truly happened, as a mother, I’m so thankful that I couldn’t just let this pass. It seems like G-Dragon was fine and was able to leave without getting hurt, so I’m very thankful for that as well. I just can’t hide how thankful I am for G-Dragon.

The hairstyles of the Big Bang members changed suddenly. TOP wore a wig and G-Dragon and Seungri changed their hair color. What’s the reason?

The SBS ‘Inkigayo’ that showed on the 6th was like a Big Bang party. Seungri who is the youngest got the Mutizen song prize with his new solo album song ‘What do you Want’. This was a result he got from beating the duo GD&TOP that also competed.

On the stage on this day Seungri changed his hair style completely from programs like the recent New Year special ‘Idol King’ and G-Dragon changed from dark black to brown and TOP changed from blonde to a black wig which puzzled the Big Bang fans.

There is only one reason. It’s to hide the concept that will be newly introduced in their new album jacket and the ‘Big Show’ before their comeback. The Big Bang members are planning to refrain from public exposure after the ‘Inkigayo’ cast to focus mainly on their comeback after 2 years.

Differently from other singers, after announcing their new album on the coming 24th, Big Bang will not have their first performance in the terrestrial TV and will be coming back with ‘Big Show’ opening from the 25th to the 27th. Big Bang Gdragon is really take a good care to all his member

After saying Jiyong was his favorite member in pretty much the very beginning:

“Jiyong is kind of hateful [by hateful it's not like hateful as in he hates other things/people but it's kind of like... someone you want to hate but can't]. He criticizes a lot but then takes care of us after, so it’s very hateful. After the first broadcast [of the comeback] he sent me a 30-line text message. This is the longest text message I have ever read from Jiyong.”

No Hong Chul asks what kind of stuff he wrote so Seungri replies

“He wrote tons of bad stuff about my expression, live performance, gesture, what kind of dance is that, are you really a dancing kid, what is this, do you not exercise these days, you look so dwarfish/weak, do you not see the camera etc. I got scolded when I got home and I said stuff like please wait, I will do better etc.”

Then Seungri says that “Jiyong called the managers, stylists, etc. and told them to take care of Seungri well and give him warm food and all that caring stuff. Seungri says Jiyong is hateful because his hyung is so cool and can do everything.”

Another section was when No Hong Chul asks him what kind of comments online are the most hurtful. So Seungri says “this isn’t something that happened to me personally but to another person. The person called me crying and said that he got a comment saying ‘the only thing left for this person is suicide.‘

So I told him “to not care about those comments too much and tried to cheer him up but I was hurt too. I said that I would save him.”

He didn’t specifically say GD but I remember on NAN GD talked about how someone told him to commit suicide and for some reason the MC was like how did Seungri respond to those negative things? And GD talked about how Seungri was very mature about it and told him not to care about it blah blah so I’m guessing Seungri was talking about GD.

Another section is the classic “if you were a girl who would you date from Big Bang?” Seungri answers “G-dragon.” he kind of sighs/groans LOL and hes like,

“he is very romantic. I’m his roommate so I see everything. He’s seriously romantic. If he dates someone he makes a song for them. One time he asked me how the song was. And I said oh my god if this was released in Korea there’d be a huge deal and it would make so much money. But… since it’s for the woman he loves it’s only for her and gives up that money/fame from that song.”

Big Bang Gdragon beat Eminem in Japan

A Japanese mobile website recently held a poll asking the public to vote for the most “God-like” rapper.
Thanks to his Japanese fans, Big Bang’s very own G-Dragon ranked in at number 4, while rap superstar Eminem ranked in at number 5, thus showing the popularity of Big Bang in Japan.


Meanwhile, the honor of the top rank went to Japanese underground rapper AK-69, while 2nd place went to Kreva, who is known for his rap performances.

Big Bang Gdragon talked about Big Bang's new album

Big Bang’s leader, G-Dragon, dropped additional details about the group’s first album in nearly two years and three months, and asked fans to anticipate great changes as well as variety in their work.

In a recent interview with Star News, he revealed that all of their songs were done recording and that the album was in its finalization stages. The singer continued:

“The members of Big Bang have been working on the album very consistently. The overall style of the album is geared towards being public friendly with comfortable music that literally anyone can follow along to.”

The album is scheduled for release on February 24th.

Big Bang Gdragon visited his junior,Kim Daehan

G-Dragon was said to have visited his junior, Kim Daehan, on the 18th, who has been in a deep coma for a year because of an accident. G-Dragon went to junior high with Daehan.

G-Dragon learned of the situation Kim Daehan was in through a letter his father posted that was circulated by fans on GD&TOP's home page. (Similar to how Jung Eun's story reached Daesung.)

Kim Daehan's father wrote:

Hello, Mr. Kwon. I'm Daehan's father.

Daehan, who lived in the suburbs, moved to Seoul for school where he had difficult times. I heard you helped and supported him a lot.

Daehan used to talk to me about you and the text messages you sent to him saying he'll ask you to perform with him when he becomes a great musician. He majored in Daegum (Korean traditional instrument) in which he had great success. He was even named as the youngest intangible cultural asset for playing it. But last January 2010, he had a tragic car accident and has been in a deep coma since then.

Doctors say that (even he's in a coma,) he can still hear us and that important people who were part of his past memories may have an effect on him. I understand that you are very busy and that it might be difficult.. but can you come for a visit and tell him, "Wake up, Daehan. I've come for you"? Please.. I'm asking you this to save my son. He was a very promising young man and you were a big support to him.. Please..

Big Bang Top and Gradgon 'Dont Go Home' got banned by MBC

Earlier, it was reported that GD&TOP’s “Don’t Go Home” track was banned from MBC for being ‘unfit for public broadcast.’

YG Entertainment officials re-submitted the song for another evaluation, arguing that it had KBS and SBS’s regulations. Unfortunately, MBC stick with their decision, and banned the song again on January 12th.

The reason given by MBC was that the lyrics, especially T.O.P’s rap, was too sexually suggestive for broadcast.

T.O.P’s lyrics state:

“I don’t like awkward settings
Why is the sound of the clock ticking so loud?
All I can hear is the sound of swallowing spit
Look baby, all I want is to greet the morning with you
A secret party for just us two before the night comes to an end
But you’re like Cinderella, you try to go home when the clock hits 12

Regarding the ban, G-Dragon stated in an interview, “As opposed to feeling a loss of strength, we’re just disappointed that such unfortunate results were met despite our best efforts. We’re upset in not being able to show a better stage because of the broadcast regulations. It’s unfortunate that they won’t accept it.”

Big Bang Gdragon read Seungri text messages

GDTOP has showed how good orators they can be in variety shows in SBS 'Night after Night' which was aired on 10th.


When asked about why he has to check the messages that Seungri receives, GD said, "I am afraid that he would make mistakes and I don't know why I am worried although we live together."

Then, he elaborated, "there was once when we went out to play, that was when Seungri has just be been admitted into university, I checked the photos in his phone. Then I knew that he had a lot of good looking friends. Taeyang joked that Seungri should introduce a girl to him. After we had said that, Seungri started sending message to the girl very swiftly."Everybody was curious after GD told this story.

After grabbing his phone back from GD, Seungri took a cute picture of himself and sent it to that girl. GD then saw him receiving a message in which she said ,'I really want to bite you.'

GD further explained, "it is okay if the story ended here; however, Seungri sent back 'you can bite me for sure to her afterwards. For the sake of preventing such kind of stuff from happening again, I have to check his messages from time to time." Everybody bursted into laughter after hearing his account.
