It seems that KARA is still bent on staying together, as it’s being reported that Hara and Gyuri are attempting to convince the other members to return to DSP Media. The two have apparently expressed, “Our team cannot break up.”

A representative stated, “Hara and Gyuri both contacted the other members and told them that the team could/should not break up. [If we do], we’ll all fail together. I believe they’re trying to convince the other members by stressing the importance of staying as a group.”

A staff member of DSP stated, “If one member moves agencies, it’s highly likely that the others will reset contracts as well. They’re continuing to explain the misunderstandings.”

Super Junior’s Shindong and KARA’s Gyuri will be lending their voices for the animated movie, “Alpha & Omega“.

The two have been assigned the leading roles of ‘Humphrey’ and ‘Kate’. Shindong will use his vast variety show experience to bring out the comedic personality of ‘Humphrey’. He should feel fairly comfortable with this new role, since he’s voice-acted before as ’Theodore’ from “Alvin and the Chipmunks.”

Gyuri, who’s referred to herself many times as a ‘goddess’, will be using her own personality as the background for Kate’s luxurious and confident manner of speech, which is much like her own already.

The movie will be released on February 24th, 2011. We love how the two are getting into character already with their wolf mitts!

KARA Gyuri's mother didnt suffering from cancer

Rumors circulating around stating that Kara's Gyuri's mother is currently suffering from cancer have been proven to be false by both SBS and Gyuri herself.

SBS's promotional team ignited the rumor when they reported, Kara's leader, Park Gyuri's mother Park Sohyun appeared on 'Star Junior' and revealed that she had suffered from cancer. When she was sick, Gyuri was preparing to become a singer and did not tell her, so she wrote a will. "However, this was disproved by SBS later on when they explained that Park Sohyun had mistaken some of the health problems she had been experiencing for cancer.“ later on when she went through an inspection, it was found that she was in fact, dealing with stomach ulcers.

On the newest episode of MBC Quiz to Change the World, comedian Kim TaeHyun revealed that he once witnessed KARA’s very own goddess, Park Gyuri, drinking beer and eating chicken by herself at 2 o’clock in the morning! All the audience members looked shocked to hear that Gyuri, who has always carried herself with a very goddess-like aura, was out and about by herself at such an odd time at a local chicken shop.

Gyuri explained herself by saying, “It was because I was going through a hard time. I’m the type that doesn’t look for guidance, so I snuck out secretly without telling the members. I just ate whatever I wanted to eat.”

Others who guest starred on this episode sympathized by agreeing, “Idols are people too, they should be able to eat whatever the want to eat.”

I, for one, am happy that Gyuri has a healthy outlet for her pain (minus the beer, of course). Let’s hope that one day she’ll be able to open up with her members instead of turning to a late night snack!
