F.T Island Lee Hong Ki is preparing for upcoming Japanese drama 'Muscle Girl !'

F.T. Island’s Lee Hongki has been cast as the leading male role for the upcoming Japanese drama, “Muscle Girl!”

The drama is scheduled to air through TBS and MBS starting this May, and the singer is currently preparing for his role alongside the female lead, Ichikawa Yui.

On this week’s episode of KBS 2TV’s “100 Points Out of 100“, F.T. Island’s Hong Ki confessed that he currently has a crush on a certain female.

During the episode, the cast were able to know more about each others’ inner confessions through the ‘Truth Game’. When Supreme Team’s Simon D asked Hong Ki if he currently likes anyone, Hong Ki answered without hesitation, “I do have a crush on a girl,” shocking the cast members on set.

When asked whether the girl knows about his feelings, Hong Ki replied, “Don’t you think she would know?”

He suspiciously added, “She might be here right now, or she might not,” and refused to answer any more questions.

FT Island’s Lee Hongki will be taking the place of CNBLUE’s Jung Yonghwa as a ‘one-day’ MC on this week’s episode of SBS’s “Inkigayo.”

FT Island’s Lee Hongki will be taking the place of CNBLUE’s Jung Yonghwa as a ‘one-day’ MC on this week’s episode of SBS’s “Inkigayo.”

Due to personal reasons, Jung Yonghwa will not be able to MC this week. Considering how Lee Hongki already has experience as a previous “Inkigayo” MC, and was much loved for his witty commentary, he seemed like the natural choice to sub in.

Representatives of SBS commented, “Lee Hongki, who’s standing as the MC after a long while, is excited and looking forward to working with his juniors, Jo Kwon and Sulli.”

TVXQ will also be holding their comeback stage and will be performing “Maximum” for the first time that day.

This event was held for the filming of project group “A.N.JELL” from the drama “You’re Beautiful“.”You’re Beautiful” talks about the growth of a teenage band and the love between the members. It will start airing on 7th October.

Lee Hongki revealed that he received support from his fellow FT Island members for the upcoming SBS Wed-Thu drama “You’re Beautiful“. In this drama, Lee Hongki will play the role of “Jeremy“, a British-Korean member of the band “A.N.JELL“, whose father is from an English royal family and mother, a famous model. He was well-brought up in the family and also helps to generate the harmonious bonding within the band.

As a member of the popular group FT Island, Lee Hongki revealed that, “In reality, there’s a group which I’m currently active in and I feel comfortable acting as an idol with a bright character. Director, Hong Sungchang, also told me to be like my usual self. He also said to use our usual conversations as part of the dialogues, so I feel less burdened.”

FT Island Lee HongKi revealed that he had seen So Nyeo Shi Dae YoonA asleep like a ’spinning wheel’.

Lee HongKi was on KBS ‘Shin Dong YeopShin SongSun’s Champagne’ aired on 22nd August when he revealed an episode when he saw YoonA sleeping at a beauty salon.

He was asked, “Have you seen the natural side of YoonA ssi at a beauty salon?” and he said, “I have even seen her unconscious. There are people who go to the beauty salon and sleeps as though their neck was broken backwards.”

And Boom asked, “Was YoonA’s sleeping features not charming?” and Lee HongKi said, “I don’t know who is sleeping. I saw them sleeping with their heads back. A few of the So Nyeo Shi Dae members sleeping like that. But it is only YoonA who will turn her head like a spinning wheel.”

YoonA also admitted, “I’ve heard others tell me that I sleep like a spinning wheel.”
