‘Super Star K’ star Joo ChanYang will join T-Max as new member and have his singer debut.

T-Max’s agency Planet 905 revealed, “T-Max has another new member joining and he is Super Star K Joo ChanYang. After member Park YoonHa’s leaving, Park HanBi and Joo ChanYang will be the new members. And together with existing members Shin MinChul and Kim Joon, they will be a flower boy quartet.”

A Planet 905 rep revealed, “In order to gain recognition for his capabilities, Joo ChanYang has been working very hard all this while – including weight lost of 15kg in such a short period of time.”

T-Max will singing 'God Of Study' OST

Group T-Max will do another soundtrack project for the new KBS 2TV drama “God of study”. The group will sing the main title track of the drama titled “For Once”.

“For Once” is a song that comes with a strong melody and plays in modern rock genre where group T-Max will represent their powerful voice into the single. To add even more anticipation, it is reported that the Ost. production team for this drama is the same team behind SBS Drama “You’re Beautiful” soundtrack album.

Previously, group T-Max has gained success with the song “Paradise” for popular drama Boys over Flowers.

“For Once” will be release for the first time via ‘God of Study’ 1st episode in the upcoming January 4, 2010.

Korean boy band T-Max will receive an award from the Korea Tourism Organization

They have been selected as “Hallyu Stars of 2009” by KTO and will be presented the award at the 2009 Hallyu Tourism Night event on December 19, to be held at Yonsei University.

The “Hallyu” event will feature a special performance from T-Max as well as a video showing of overseas promotional videos which stars a handful of K-pop stars including Son Ho-young, Andy, Kim Joon and F.T Island.

“We are very proud and happy to share in the responsibility of continuing the popularity of Korean Wave,” T-Max members were quoted as saying. “We will continue our efforts in promoting Korea to overseas markets in the future.”

According to KTO, the number of tourists who visited Korea last month was counted at over seven million visitors, a record-high for the month of November.

T-Max had recently also held a Hallyu Star autograph session at Incheon International Airport as part of their activities as promoting the city of Incheon.

T-Max, who debuted in 2007, is best known for their song “Paradise” which was featured in the soundtrack for hit TV series “Boys Over Flowers”. The group’s rapper Kim Joon achieved an even greater success playing an F4 member, one of the key characters, in the drama.

The group became popular throughout Asia, thanks to the success of “Flowers” and several of their songs on the soundtrack including "Say Yes", "Wish You're My Love", "Fight The Bad Feeling" and "Bang Bang Boom".

They recently wrapped up a concert in Singapore and are set to perform in Japan next week. The concert, titled “Christmas Talk & Live Show Merry ChrisT-MAX”, will be held in Tokyo and Osaka on December 22 and 23, respectively.

T-Max will come to Hong Kong on Halloween

Korean group, T-MAX will come to Hong Kong for the first time on Halloween. In the Korean drama, Boys Over Flowers, Kim Joon, who was cast as Mei Zuo (美作), along with group members Park Yun Jae and Shin Min-cheol, will come to Hong Kong to attend the Wildayout Music Concert performance. At the concert, T-Max and Show Luo (Xiao Zhu) will perform the opening and ending performances, battling their dancing.

The annual Wildayout this year has a theme of “Playing Ghosts” and spent tens of millions of dollars (unsure of currency) to create a nine hour music concert. On Halloween, October 31st, it will take place at Sha Tin Racecourse where “human and ghosts enjoys the show together.” The performing artists include T-Max, Show Luo, Mavis Fan & 100%, Paul Wong, Juno Mak, Kidult, Sodagreen, and many more. To coordinate with the theme of the event, all the singers will dress in ghost costumes, accompanying everyone from 1:00pm in the afternoon until 10:00pm at night.

3 member band T-MAX will be returning on August 28th, 2009 at 7:30PM KST to put on their first Korean concert at the Seoul YoungDeungPo Art Hall. Prior to this concert, the band put on a concert in May in Japan at the Harajuku Astro Hall, called "T-MAX First Live." They even held concerts in Taiwan and Hong Kong, to establish themselves as a "Hallyu band."

Boys Over Flowers Kim Joon will take on musical.

After receiving much popularity acting as Song WooBin in KBS hit drama Boys Over Flowers and as a member of singer group T Max, he is casted for musical titled ‘Youth’s Journey’.

‘Youth’s Journey’ is a manga remake talking about Yeong ShimEe talking about the 33 years of his growing up, and will feature songs like Lee Seung Chul’s ‘Last Concert’, Lee Moon Sae’s ‘Flying into the deep blue night’, and Hyun Ji Yeon’s ‘You in the fading memory’ etc.

After the drama Boys Over Flowers ended, Kim Joon has not only been busy promoting within Korea but also overseas. And this will be his first attempt at musical.

He is double casted as the male lead together with Lee Jin Hoon who also did the musical Singles, and Lee Jung Mi and Kim Ji Woo have been casted as the female leads.

The musical will take place from 18th till 25th July.
