Super Junior Choi Siwon revealed an extraordinary effort he had done for his transformation as actor.

On February 17 on the broadcast of SBS “Night’s TV Entertainment” (MC Seo Kyeongsuk, Song Jihyo), Choi Siwon said “Before the filming of Athena : Goddess of War started, I bought a handgun”.

He said ,” I bought a handgun which has the same weight and feeling like in the drama.” “I had practiced (it) diligently, but when I entered the real filming, I didn’t use handgun but a (long-barreled) rifle”

“Athena : Goddess of War” which Choi Siwon is staring in it will end after the broadcast on February 21.

Why Suju Siwon always stands in the center? Leeteuk explained it

On February 1st, Super Junior’s Lee Teuk guested on SBS’s “Strong Heart” and revealed the secrets behind how each member is positioned.

He explained that member Siwon was in centre for a very important reason. “When Siwon stands in the center, it gives the illusion that all Super Junior members look handsome.”

MC Kang Ho Dong then asked Shindong whether he’d like to stand center, to which he replied, “When I saw Jung Won Kwan of ‘Fire Truck,’ I realized that first impressions are very important. If I stood in the center, Super Junior would just turn into a ‘fat group.’”

Lee Teuk added, “The center isn’t always the best position though. In album jacket photos, because we have 13 members, the center stands where the jacket folds. Centers are positioned well in groups with only five to six members, but not in big groups like us.”

Doojoon, the leader of six member group B2ST, gave his own opinion by expressing, “Our choreographer positions us so that such concerns don’t arise. In our choreography, we stand in a circle without any center, so that every mother could spot their son.”

Suju Siwon and Donghae will be acting in new drama called 'Beautiful Change'

>It’s finally been confirmed that Super Junior’s Siwon and Donghae will be joining Ariel Lin in Taiwan’s adaptation of Yoshiki Nakamura’s manga Skip Beat!, called “Beautiful Change.”

Ariel Lin has been waiting to film “Beautiful Challenge” for about 1 year plus, the male lead has changed from Jerry Yan, to Wu Chun and now it is confirmed that the new male lead will be Super Junior’s Donghae and Siwon.

Also, Ariel Lin will be filming the Taiwanese Version of “Coffee Prince” and will be pairing up with Jerry Yan again.

“Beautiful Challenge” male lead has been changing from the initial Jerry Yan, to Wu Chun. After Wu Chun decided to work on movies instead of drama, the male lead has changed back to Jerry Yan. But the second lead is unpleased with his little acting role and decided to quit. Hence, our female lead Ariel Lin has been waiting for her male lead for a year plus already. Now it is finally revealed that Ariel Lin will work with Donghae and Siwon from Super Junior. Earlier on, Ariel Lin has filmed a MV with the both of them and has know them quite well, plus Ariel Lin graduated from a Korean Language degree, hence there shouldn’t be any communication problems.

Filming starts March 2011.

Super Junior’s Choi Shiwon is keen on shaping his body in order to change into an actor. SBS’s new Monday/Tuesday drama ‘Oh! My Lady’(Writer Goo Sunkyung/Director Park Youngsu /Production Pan Entertainment)’s Choi Shiwon revealed that he ate chicken breast in order to prepare for his role of playing a top star.

Following ‘Pick the Stars/Stars Falling from the Sky’, the first broadcast of ‘Oh! My Lady’ will air starting from March 22nd and it is about a newbie ajjumma manager training a rough pretty boy and is a drama overall about the success generation of the Korean ajjumma. Choi Shiwon play the main character role as a pretty boy star named Sung Minwoo.

Choi Shiwon says “Minwoo, who is top star, has a slim and well toned body as well as abs. So I purposely mostly ate chicken breast and in my spare time, I strengthed my body with exercise.” Also “Because of that, I lost 8kg and my abs became more noticeable. This is helping me change into Minwoo”.

Following that he said that, “This is my first time as a lead in a drama so I’m nervous. Especially since it won’t be easy to play a rough top star ”. Also “Even so, Heechul hyung and Kibummie, two members of my group Super Junior who have been acting before me, told me to relax and gave me a lot of advice about this and that which I am paying close attention to. I’m very thankful towards the two of them”.

He also spoke about his Chaerim who will would be working with, saying “If we speak in terms of acting, she is a greater sunbaenim but she is so kind so she makes me feel very comfortable.” and laughed that it was “To the extent that I don’t even feel like she is a sunbaenim”.

Lastly, he explained the reason why we must watch the drama saying “Us actors are happy just looking at the script” and “Especially now that we can feel that warm feelings of Spring, I would like it if the audience could also smile happily as they watch our drama” and requested that a lot of people tune in.

Chaerim, Choi Shiwon, Lee Hyunwoo, Park Hanbyul, Moon Junghee and others will appear on ‘ Oh! My Lady’ which will follow ‘Pick the Stars/Stars Falling from the Sky’ and will air every Monday, Tuesday at 8:40 PM.
