Park Jin Young ,regret about IU's unsuccessful audition for JYPE

On February 12th, Park Jin Young was a guest on KBS 2TV’s ‘Entertainment Weekly‘. During the recording, he talked about IU’s unsuccessful audition for his company, JYP Entertainment.

He stated, “I’m going to fire whoever dropped IU from the audition. Every time I see IU, my heart aches… Whenever our eyes meet, I end up dodging direct eye contact,” which drew much laughter in the studio.

Public interest in the Park Jin Young and Park Jaebeom story doesn’t appear to be waning any time soon, as the issue was brought up once again during Park Jin Young’s appearance on KBS 2TV’s “Win Win.”

The JYP Entertainment producer was asked for his thoughts on Park Jaebeom’s exit, to which he carefully responded, “Our company has already released an official statement, what more is there to say? To say anymore, when the bright futures of so many young people are involved...”

He continued, “It’s a mistake he made when he was young, and he debuted at a young age. They’re mistakes anyone at that age could make, but because he was a public figure, it’s unfortunate. At a young age, he had popularity and honor, and to have something like that explode, I could never forgive him.”

“I was forced to choose between protecting that young child, or deceiving the public. If I were to cover at least some of it and protect the child, it’s possible I wouldn’t have to deceive them, but if the situation were to exacerbate, it is only Park Jaebeom that gets hurt when the public finds out the truth,” he concluded.

Netizens commented, “Park Jaebeom is not even a part of your company, stop talking about him,” “If you really were to protect him, you wouldn’t even speak of his name on shows like this,” and “Park Jin Young, is that really the best you could do?”

JYP,'Again and Again's my favourite song'

On the December 19th episode of Entertainment Relay, producer and singer JYP revealed some interesting facts regarding 2PM and their tracks.

JYP stated that as a singer, his thoughts drive him crazy:
"I always think about things like, if I were on stage, I would've done things differently. It makes me crazy. Really."

In addition, JYP stated:
"Heartbeat was written strictly for 2PM. However, Again&Again, I really liked that song so much. It's a song that I wanted to perform."

He finally concluded the interview by saying:
"I'm sure of what I want to do with the rest of my life. I will remain on the stage and in the recording studio. As opposed to being the best producer, I want to remain as the best singer."

Park Jin Yooung,wants bring Big Bang Daesung to his agency

Daesung first sparked the hilarious conversation by saying, "There's no such thing as 'president' or whatsoever here (Family Outing). I'm actually one of the founding members and the truth is that I'm a lorena."

The hilarious "dumber" Daesung surprised JYP by saying, "There was once a dance battle between JYP and YG. The way I heard it was that YG won 2 to 0."

However, JYP took it lightly and showed his affection by saying, "When I first saw you, you were smiling so brightly that I just wanted to take you to our agency."

Daesung brightly smiled and replied, "I also wanted to go to America." To this JYP replied, "The fastest method to go to America is to becoming one of the Wonder Girls and we'll see within the next year!"

Daesung instantly "auditioned" by doing the Wonder Girl's dance moves, which led to JYP to give him crushing but a hilarious answer: "Just stick with Big Bang."

However, that did not stop Daesung, because he brightly smiled once more and said, "Even if i have to go solo, I would want to go to America!"

Park Jin Young has revealed that he wants to produce for singer Lee Hyori.

In the show's corner titled My Rankings 1, 2, 3, Park Jin Young revealed that a singer he would really like to produce for was Lee Hyori. He stated, "Producing is most fun when you not only come up with a new dance move and song, but when you can change everything, including the artist's hairstyle. But I can only try various attempts of a concept with a solo female singer."

JYP also stated, "I haven't been able to do any producing for female solo artists after Park Ji Yoon and Ivy. But if I had to pick someone who would be able to fully absorb and pull off the concept I produce them, from currently active female celebrites, I think Lee Hyori would be the best fit."

He wants to be on "We Got Married" with his buddy, Ko So Young! Park Jin Young was the featured guest on the MBC 'Yoo Jae Suk, Kim Won Hee's Come to Play' for the 'JYP and Friends' special.

Noh Hong Chul asked, "Aren't you jealous that your friend, Ko So Young, is going out with Jang Dong Gun?"
Park Jin Young replied, "I don't know about 10 year ago, but now, we're such close friends. She congratulated me when I got married, so when I saw the news, I sent her a supportive text which she replied with a 'Thank you'."

Jo Kwon will make appearance too and said that he was nervous in front of his boss, his poise did not faulter when he performed his 'Park Jin Young Parody Dance'.

Park Jin Young wishes to quit producing

On the radio broadcast he said:

"It feels good to be back on the radio after such a long time. I'm so happy I can sing the songs that I like and that people recognize me as a musician and not just as a producer and CEO. I really only want to be a musician next year."

JYP delivered the good news of the popularity that the Wonder Girls have gotten after appearing on FOX TV's So You Think You Can Dance. He also chose this particular radio show to appear on because Park So Hyun has been a good friend of his since his debut 15 years ago.

"My dream is to retire my duties as a boss in June. I've already sort of stopped my duties as the boss of JYP Asia and instead, I've been working as JYP USA. I've been very busy in America with my duties as a road manager. I want to finish up activities of all JYP artists by June and just focus on dancing and singing. I want to just spend the rest of my life making music. I'm most happy when I perform as a musician."

Kim Jung Eun asked what kind of a teacher he is to 2PM and Wonder Girls and he said:

"They treat me however they want. Wonder Girls hit me a lot. I had to talk to Taecyeon once so I called him over and then I forgot what I was gonna say. He just got up and said, 'Tell me when you remember' and left! They're always like that. When I get serious, then they listen. But in reality, they are not very nice."

Park Jin Young also went on to rate his stars:

"Wonder Girls are about 8 points out of 10. Their flaws have improved. It's been 3 years since they've debuted and their live stages, dancing, and singing has improved. They're not as good as Rain or Kim Tae Woo but they've grown a lot. For 2PM and 2AM, 7 points. It hasn't been long since they've debuted. They have so much more to accomplish. They don't do as well on stage than they do during rehearsals."

The Family Outing producer stated to Newsen:

"Park Jin Young and Seo In Young guest starred on Family Outing. Although Park Jin Young does not have a lot of experience on variety programs, he worked very hard to film a good show. Seo In Young as well tried hard to film a good show for the reality program."

Park Jin Young 'Jaebeom will comeback to Korea when he ready'

Park Jin Young speaks up officially about 2PM JaeBum for the first time on MBC Golden Fishery.

On Golden Fishery aired on 11th November, Park Jin Young said, “If JaeBum comes back, he will return as part of 2PM of course. It will not be a solo comeback.”

MC Kang Ho Dong then asked, “Do you have to send JaeBum off to America in such a rush?” and Park Jin Young replied, “When JaeBum’s case was exposed, it was put under great criticism. And when he returned to the States, suddenly public opinion was ‘Was there a mistranslation?’ and that he did not do any wrong. The answer is in between.”

He continued, “Even though it was not like it is a mistake, it was not like it wasn’t a mistake as well. Someone who is responsible for part of the culture or has nothing to do with our culture should not be receiving the criticisms.”

“JaeBum is not a bad child. Back then he was going through a tough time and was not motivated at all. He even said to me ‘If it is not Park JinYoung’s song, I am confident of success’. But I like it that he does not lie. JaeBum has been changing and the JaeBum now is very different from the JaeBum then. The JaeBum back then had caused hurt to many Koreans, but the JaeBum now is very embarrassed by what he has done and does not want to burden the group as the leader so he has decided to leave. If it’s me I would have done the same.”

Kang Ho Dong then asked, “As the company, shouldn’t you stop him?” Park Jin Young said, “He did wrong, and on his own he thought that he did wrong. If you care about JaeBum, I think that public opinion and fans should leave him to be. He will know that everyone cares, but leave him to be for now.”

Lastly, he said, “The thing that I can do is be help as a dance and song teacher to help him keep his standards as a singer up during this resting period. When he is willing to return on to the stage, I will help him willingly. If JaeBum is to return, he will return as 2PM and not solo. JaeBum, the other members and myself will not want a solo comeback.”

Singer cum producer Park Jin Young will come back to Korea as 2PM’s producer leaving his role as WonderGirls‘ manager.

He said in an interview on 25th July, “I will leave WonderGirls for a while to do the producing work for 2PM’s new album.”

He added, “I will return as a musician after being WonderGirls‘ manager.”

Park Jin Young has been accompanying the WonderGirls for their promotion of ‘Nobody’ their American debut song in America all these time. WonderGirls have been letting their fans know of their statuses on Twitter as they tour with the Jonas Brothers.
