FT Island,in the coming of episode of 'My Story'

FT Island will share with us stories on their music and lives in the coming episode of “MY 樂 STORY“.

FT Island is gaining lots of popularity along with the recent release of their 3rd album “Cross & Change“. It’s also their first time going on a 3 day 2 night vacation ever since their debut.

Creating a new paradigm in the current music industry, FT Island not only sings, the members are also active in emcee-ing, musicals and dramas. Though they have never been on any vacations since their debut, they have decided to go on one to reward themselves for the hard work they put in for their 3rd album.

FT Island had a short vacation at the beach. They shared thoughts and confided in one another; betting ice cream on wrestling battles on the beach, showing the strong ties of friendship between them. Things which we normally do not see on stage like members without make up as well as their playful side were all revealed.

2NE1's first debut album reaching 100k album sales mark

Group 2NE1’s first debut album is just a few steps away from reaching the 100K album sales mark.

The title song ‘I Don’t Care’ off their 1st minialbum is also #1 on various music charts. Their achievements as a newcomer singer group is almost unbelievable, and threatening the stronghold of the existing strong singers.

YG Entertainment said, “Even though it is about 1 month since the album is released, it is still selling about 1000 copies a day. We are continuously adding to the production of 2NE1’s minialbum, and up till now we have produced 80K copies, and we have just recently produced anohter 20K. With that the production for 2NE1’s minialbum has crossed the 100K mark.”

All these while, for a new singer to do well on album chart is not easy. For existing singers, it has to depend on a certain degree of fandom to achieve it and the effect can only be seen at the start of their album release.

YG Entertainment added, “2NE1, who has just released their 1st album, is a group with more to show. Do anticipate more from them as they will be showing more new sides of them.”

Meanwhile, 2NE1 is #1 for 3 weeks through on KBS Music Bank, and #1 2 weeks through on SBS Inkiagyo, doing very well on music shows.

Super Junior,Heechul back as an actor 'Love You tens thousand times'

Group Super Junior (26) will be back as an actor for weekend drama ‘Love you tens thousand times’.

He appeared on drama previously on SBS weekend drama ‘Golden Bride’ a an university student YeongSoo, and this time he will be acting as a part-time working a snack bar named ‘Lee BaeDal’.

The first airing of the drama will take place on 29th August. It is said that Kim HeeChul will have a comedian role in the drama, as Kim ChungJa who is the scriptwriter of dramas in the 50s, and is one who would be dumped by girls in one morning after going after them.

Kim HeeChul was chosen for the role because of his usual brave and comedian side.

The newest celebrity couple, Hyun Bin and Song Hye Gyo will be heading overseas together in September to promote their drama, The World They Live In.

On 26th September, both Hyun Bin and Song Hye Gyo will be appearing in Yokohama, Japan for The World They Live In DVD and OST promotional activities. The two had acted as a couple in the drama and just recently progressed into a dating relationship in June.

2PM Park Jaebeom with Kara Nicole Jung will be the new MC'S for new show Nodaji

2PM's sexy leader Park Jaebeom and KARA's cutie Nicole Jung will be the new MC's for MBC's new show Nodaji, replacing Choi Min Yong and Kim Tae Hyun. Other MC's for the show include Kim Jae Dong, Jo Hae Ryun, Shin Jung Hwan, and Hwang Bo.


The first episode of Nodaji airs on August 23rd as a regular program for MBC Sunday Sunday Night. The show is a historical cultural variety show that involves visiting famous cultural spots and completing a treasure map.

The opposition of DBSK disbandment is getting stronger. On July 31st, 'DBSK Disbandment Opposition' petition began on Daum Agora and have gotten 23066 signatures so far.

It is widely know that DBSK's official fan club Cassiopeia has over 800,000 members. These fans are considering plans to hold a candelight protest in front of SM in opposition to DBSK disbandment. In response to this, SM stated that there has not been any particular actions by the fans yet.
