Supreme Team is preparing for their solo album

Hip hop duo Supreme Team will be joining the trend of unit promotions by making solo debuts!

First up is member E-Sens, as he will be releasing a new album featuring authentic hip hop sounds this April. Simon D is currently preparing for his own solo album as well, which is hinted to be featuring his distinctive rapid-fire rap style along with a variety of other genres.

Representatives of Amoeba Culture spoke with Star News on February 12th and revealed, “The two members have always dreamed of releasing solo albums, so these albums will be an opportunity for them to express their hip hop individuality. They’re currently planning a variety of other activities along with their Supreme Team promotions.”

"Kim Shin Young's good in rapping " said Supreme Team

The two said, “We are regular guests on Kim Shin Young’s radio, Shim Shim Tapa. There is a section in the show in which we have to showcase our rapping skills, and one day, the microphone was handed over to Kim Shin Young. She was really good; we could even call her a real rapper. She went through it once without any stops, and after hearing it a multiple times, it was the bomb.”

The group also said, “The feel of mainstream American music was most apparent in the song that Kim Shin Young featured in. The song has a southern rhythm and it is difficult to rap. We were amazed that Kim Shin Yong, who never rapped before, to do it that well…”
