Jokwon recently appeared on KBS 2TV 'Happy Together' and made a shocking revelation about his love life prior to his debut. He explained, "Before debuting, I never had a girlfriend, but I did go on many dates."
When asked, "Why couldn't you find a girlfriend among the many dates you went on?", Jokwon replied that, prior to his debut, the most important thing to him was to become a singer. Hence, he could not afford to pursue a serious relationship and find a girlfriend. "I was ready to fall in love, but Park Jin Young hyung was in Korea... [so I couldn't date]"
However, the 2AM leader expressed his small flicker of hope for a potential girlfriend in the near future. "When Jin Young hyung leaves to a foreign country in January 2010, the world will be mine."
When Park Jin Young is away, Jokwon answered what changes the most is that "There are no limits during broadcasting," sending a wave of laughter in the audience.
