SHINee’s maknae Taemin go to new school- an arts high school

SHINee’s maknae Taemin will be transferring into an arts high school in order to better accommodate his hectic schedule.

On March 2nd, a representative of SM Entertainment spoke with Newsen and revealed, “SHINee’s Taemin will be leaving Chung Dam High School to attend an arts high school.”

Taemin, who will be entering his senior year this year, has decided to transfer in order to focus on his schedule for SHINee’s Japanese advancement.

The decision came about because his career commitments made it difficult for him to meet the required attendance figure for Chung Dam High School.

Netizens commented, “It’s an important year for him, I hope the change doesn’t mess anything up” and “He’s leaving in order to fulfill his dreams, so I don’t think it’s anything bad. I respect his decision.”

SBS’s “2010 Gayo Daejun” to feature a special maknae performance

The youngest members of various idol groups will be coming together for a special ‘maknae show performance’ on SBS’s “2010 Gayo Daejun.”

Broadcasting live from Ilsan KINTEX on December 29th, the ‘maknae show’ for the 2010 SBS Gayo Daejun will consist of SNSD’s Seohyun, KARA’s Jiyoung, SHINee’s Taemin, 2PM’s Chansung, MBLAQ’s Mir, f(x)’s Sulli, and After School’s Lizzy.

Taemin the members of Code-V leaving the group

Back in June, boy group Code-V made their return to the K-pop scene with Addiction. The group had originally debuted in 2007 under the name Bless, but they were anything but blessed as they suffered from low sales and lack of promotion. Even though their initial debut was a bust, the boys were confident that this time around, things would be different.

SHINee youngest member TaeMin reveals a secret of team member Onew.

TaeMin was on SBS ‘Shin DongYeop’s 300′ aired on 24th January when he reveals a unique sleeping habit of member Onew.

TaeMin was asked ‘As the youngest, when is the time when leader Onew is the scariest’ and he answered, “Onew hyung is not a scary hyung. But he has a side to him where he talks a lot. When he sleeps, he covers himself in the blanket till the end of his head. And when he wakes up, he will be cover in perspiration.”

Onew then added, “I need to cover myself fully when I sleep. When I see light, I cannot sleep.” And MC asked, “So you don’t nap in the day?” and Onew replied, “I will sleep in dark places in the day.”

SHINee TaeMin who is 18 years old this year reveals that he felt that “teenagers these days are scary”.

He had appeared on SBS ‘Shin Dong Yeop’s 300′ filming recently. He is joined by 300 students and they talked about issues of teenagers these days.

He was posed the question during the interview, “Are you ‘even though I’m a kid, kids these days are scary’ too?” and he answered, “Recently I went to the gaming cafe, and the students have curses and swears in half of their conversation. Even though I’m in my teens, when I heard conversations like these, I thought that the teens these days are scary.”

MC Shin DongYeop then posed the question, “When are the times when you are scared of leader Onew as the youngest of the team?” and he revealed the ‘leader Onew fears’ which only the members living together in the dorm will know.

The show will air on 24th January.

SHINee Taemin has fully recovered from swine flue be back on 3rd member

According to SM Entertainment on 2nd December,

“He has received the health examination report from the hospital on 1st December and he has fully recovered from it.”

He is also the 3rd member from SHINee after JongHyun and Onew to be down with the flu.

SHINee Taemin also has been diagnosed with swine flu

Taemin was rushed to the hospital on the 25th after developing fever and was diagnosed to be H1N1 positive on the 26th.

SM Entertainment stated:

"Taemin has been diagnosed with swine flu. We will cancel all of his scheduled events and he will take a rest."

Super Junior Kim HeeChul shows support to junior SHINee TaeMin with cameo drama appearance on MBC sitcom ‘TaeHee HyeGyo JiHyunie’.

Kim Hee Chul was at the filming set for the drama on 3rd August and participated in the drama filming. The reason why he did the cameo appearance was for his junior SHINee TaeMin. The 2 are known as ‘celebrity lookalikes’ and it will be a fun episode on ‘Tae-Hye-Ji’ with the 2 of them appearing together.
