Co-Ed Taewoon will make his drama debut in the MBC weekend drama 'Can You Heart My Heart?'

Taewoon, member of the hybrid group, Coed, will make his drama debut in the MBC weekend drama, "Can You Hear My Heart?".

His agency revealed on the 3rd that he'll be playing the role of a businessman in the drama, "Can You Hear My Heart?" beginning in the 6th episode and continuing on.

The representative continued, "The female sub-unit 5dolls, also were cast in the new drama 'Best Love' as the girl group Candice, but following, Taewoon will be the first Coed male member to have an acting debut."

Taewoon said, "My first time acting, and even though I'm not close to perfect, I've worked hard practicing acting and have been watching a lot of dramas since I was young," he said charmingly.

Meanwhile, "Can You Hear My Heart?" is about the love story of Cha Dongjoo (Kim Jaewon), a man who is now deaf after an accident but pretends he can hear, and Bong Woori (Hwang Jungeum), a woman who’s intelligent but pretends she’s an idiot to protect her mentally handicapped seventy-year old father.

Co-Ed will comeout with a male sub-group

Co-Ed's Yoosung recently updated his Cyworld, telling fans, "Cheer on 5Dolls, who will soon debut!" 5Dolls, the female sub-group of Co-Ed, is in the middle of preparing for their February 10 debut on M! Countdown.

Yoosung informed fans that he would not be as active on his Cyworld until Co-Ed's comeback. However, he added, "It won't be too long, so please be patient!" He next revealed that Co-Ed will come out with a male sub-group. "We'll come out with surprising vocals and dance skills," Yoosung promised.

He addressed fans and loved ones, thanking them for always supporting him: "I'll remember every single one of you."

CO-ED said bravely 'To tell the truth we didnt like our stage name'

The members of Co-Ed made an appearance on Mnet’s “Beatle’s Code” and updated fans on their recent whereabouts, as well as honest thoughts on their activities as a group.

The topic of their unique member names came up, leading the members to reveal, “Truthfully, we’re not satisfied with our names. Sorry, CEO! Our faces get so red with embarrassment whenever people call us by our stage names. We’re actually really curious to see what name our new member, Seo Eun Gyo, will be given.”

MC Kim Jong Shin continued the interview by asking, “Lately, your labelmates T-ara have been doing very well. Aren’t you jealous?”

Without hesitation, Co-Ed replied, “We’re definitely jealous, but we will catch up to T-ara within two to three months.” When asked why specifically two to three months, they replied, “We’ll be making our comeback then!”

They also revealed, “Her mother owns a dance school so she naturally learned how to dance since she was six years old. She’s been training in dance for 10 years now, and her vocals are just exceptional.”

They continued, “She hasn’t been met with any difficulty in adjusting to the group, and all five have been working closely together to debut the unit group.”

It was also mentioned that Seo Eun Gyo was briefly a trainee at JYP Entertainment.

The company further revealed, “5dolls will be debuting with a track composed by Brave Brothers.”
