free image hosting

TVXQ’s Max Changmin will be celebrating his 24th birthday (February 18th) together with his fans for the first time since the group’s debut eight years ago.

Although he was unable to celebrate his 23rd birthday last year due to his hectic schedule for the filming of his drama, “Paradise Ranch“, this year Changmin gets to celebrate his birthday comfortably while fulfilling promotional activities for TVXQ.

On the morning of his birthday, Changmin first visited a radio station where he guest starred on a radio show, then he quickly rushed to prepare for TVXQ’s performance of “Keep Your Head Down” on KBS 2TV’s “Music Bank”.

Changmin is scheduled to meet his fans on a more personal level shortly after his “Music Bank” performance to celebrate his birthday.

Both of them still looked awkward when they exchanged gazes with only 3 seconds which was suggested by Onew. After that, krystal said “this is the first time I look at Changmin so close like this. I don’t even know he get that thick double eyelids” she said. Then changmin replied “when I looked at Krystal, her eyes looks quite pretty” he said.

TVXQ Yunho worried that he might get hit from Changmin while perform

free image hosting

TVXQ’s U-Know Yunho admitted that he would get nervous everytime he got on stage with Choikang Changmin because he worried he might get hit.

U-Know Yunho, who appeared on ‘Happy Together 3′ on the 10th, confessed that, “When we go on stage to perform our new song ‘Why (Keep Your Head Down)’, there’s a part in the performance where it looks like Choikang Changmin and I are fighting. Choikang Changmin would hit my chest with no mercy during the actual performance though he hadn’t done anything of the sort while we had been rehearsing. It hurt a lot.“

Choikang Changmin’s action hurt so much that U-Know Yunho had to go up to him and ask, “Changmin, please don’t hit me too hard.”

The younger member agreed to U-Know Yunho’s plea and began pushing the latter’s chest instead of hitting it. But U-Know Yunho admitted that he still feels nervous whenever he gets on stage to perform the song.

TVXQ Yunho and Changmin didnt get Jaejoong called and text?

free image hosting

Ever since TVXQ’s Yunho stated that he did not receive any sort of contact from JYJ’s Jaejoong at his press conference yesterday, fans furiously debating as to whether his claim was true.

Prior to the response, Jaejoong had stated in an interview, “Personally, I tried to contact Yunho and Changmin, but they did not pick up. I tried to meet them on my own through an associate, but that didn’t go as planned.”

Yesterday, Yunho was asked whether he received any contact from Jaejoong, to which he replied, “That’s not true. We’ve never received contact. And even if we want to contact them, their numbers have changed, so we might not have accepted the call because of the unfamiliar number. There’s been a lot of prank calls lately, it’s difficult for us to take every call.”

On the morning of January 13th, Jaejoong wrote on his Twitter, “I want to reply to this directly, through my own words. They weren’t many, but do you know how hard it was for me to send you those texts? I texted you again right now, please check it.”

[Vid] DBSK Homin- Happy 7th Anniversary

Yunho: Hello Cassiopeians! We are U-Know Yunho and
Changmin: Max Changmin!
Changmin: Did you enjoy our Christmas message? We tried hard to show off our skills…
Yunho: Yeah.
Changmin: But of course, it’s not a great drawing…
Yunho: That’s right.

Changmin: It’s been so long since we greeted everyone, so it’s a bit awkward, but I feel very happy. Are you guys doing well?
Yunho: Since this is a very special day, for both us and for you guys, we decided to greet you all with an audio message!
Yunho: It feels like it was just yesterday that TVXQ debuted, but it’s already been 7 years. Time’s quickly flown by, and we’re already in our mid-20s. All of our fans who were once students have transformed into pretty ladies now, right?
Changmin: They’ve become mature ladies.
Yunho: Yes. To think that it’s already been 7 years… Time has gone by so fast.
Changmin: Yes, that’s true. To the fans who supported us unceasingly during these 7 years, even right from the beginning, we want to express our gratitude to them again and again.
Yunho: *sighs in amazement*
Changmin: We’ve been working really hard to show the proper thinking and actions, so that you may feel pride in being our fans, anywhere and anytime. We’ll continue to be working hard in the future.
Yunho: We’ll work harder!
Changmin: We can’t say it as frequently, so I’m not sure if you fully understand our hearts…
Yunho: Of course they know! That goes without saying, right?
Changmin: But even now, I still don’t understand my own heart…

Yunho: Yes… Oh, that’s right! It won’t be long until TVXQ will makes a comeback. I feel nervous, it’s like when we first debuted. I’m excited to return to the stage after such a long time. We’ve become insatiable in our efforts to show you the best stage and meet everyone’s high expectations, so we really hope that you all enjoy it.
Changmin: Yeah!
Yunho: So to our fans…
Changmin: Yeah!
Yunho: Please look forward to it…
Changmin: Yeah!
Yunho: And please keep loving TVXQ in the future…
Changmin: Yeah!
Yunho: There are only few days left in 2010, so we hope that you all wrap up the year well.
Yunho + Changmin: We’re TVXQ, thank you everyone!
Changmin: And to all of Cassiopeians…

JYJ spoke about Homin in interview

free image hosting

Ever since the announcement of JYJ splitting from SM Entertainment on July 31, 2009, both the members of TVXQ and their fans have been riding a long roller coaster with numerous ups and downs along the way. After revealing their new album, ‘The Beginning’, last October, the JYJ trio has become increasingly confident about expressing the thoughts they’ve kept to themselves this past year.

- You won the Golden Disk Awards twice in your careers (2006, 2008), did you watch this year’s awards show?

“We watched it. It made us reminisce about our past, as well as feel new emotions. It’s already been two years since we stood up on that stage. We’ve carefully stored away our Golden Disk platinum medal.” (Yoochun)

- We’ve heard that Hero Jaejoong is popular amongst Japanese female celebrities. There were even rumors about him being in a relationship with one.

“All those articles about relationships are just fiction. It’s true that I get along with the Japanese female stars, but there isn’t one that I’m in a relationship with. Japan is different from Korea in that their celebrities all comfortably get along privately. I’m close with Hamasaki Ayumi, which is probably where the relationship rumors came from.” (Jaejoong)

“Jaejoong has everything Japanese girls like about guys. He has cute and sexy charms all in one body. But in real life, he doesn’t have a girlfriend.” (Yoochun)

- Korean artists seem to be popular in Japan.

“The status of Korean artists in Japan have increased to their advantage. Korean singers are becoming acknowledged for their dancing, singing, and looks. It’s not just their skills, but they also admire Korean males for their nice bodies and being able to drink alcohol well.” (Jaejoong)

- You’ve worked so hard in Japan for how many years, but you’re unable to promote.

“We predicted that there would be difficulties along the way. We’re just thankful that we were able to even release an English album. We’re disappointed, but all we’re hoping for is to get everything solved so we can meet our fans again.” (Junsu)

- What warranted you to withdraw from the team, even when you knew it would be hard? You knew there would be a possibility of people pointing at you for betrayal.

“Up until we made our decision, we lived in chaos for over a year. At the time, there were a lot of speculations regarding business and revenue shares, but we only have one answer. We thought about how we would answer ourselves if we were to ask, “Were we really happy?”, later in life. From the moment we realized we would answer, “I don’t think so”, there was no point of us hesitating any longer. We are sorry for everyone who supported us and helped us, but we put down the decision that we couldn’t do this to our own lives anymore.” (Junsu)

- But it wouldn’t have been easy to make that decision at the peak of your careers.

“We were prepared to face the possibility of not being able to be sing again. If we weren’t prepared to that extent, we wouldn’t have had enough courage to make that decision. We even thought of going to the countryside to build and live on a farm. We also thought this would turn into a 10 year long fight.” (Junsu)

“It’s true. We all knew our celebrity lives could end. We didn’t even have hope of doing well. I thought of selling my house in Seoul to live in the countryside.” (Yoochun)

- There are a lot of mountains you must get over, like not being able to go on broadcast.

“Even though we get criticized a lot at the beginning, doesn’t it get better later on? It’s hard when problems keep surfacing, but we’re learning how to win over them. When something bad explodes, I turn off my internet and don’t even read articles. Even though it’s a bad situation, we try to be positive. Being pessimistic just because we’re sad makes the people around us even more stressed. That’s why I write up fun messages on my Twitter and try to communicate with our fans.” (Jaejoong)

- Do you still keep in contact with SM’s Yunho and Changmin?

“We’re really sad that we can’t. We’re not saying that just because we left the company it means we left the members too… We watched their album teaser for the January comeback. We honestly hope they will do well.” (Jaejoong)

- You three members must have become more independent.

“We didn’t have a lot of time together because of our busy schedules, but after our concert last month, us three went on a nationwide trip. We traveled from Kangwon-do to Busan in two weeks. We rode yachts and went to find the nation’s best restaurants. We found out that Junsu has a lot of popularity in the countryside.” (Yoochun)

- When does TVXQ shine the most?

“We hope we can shine even more when the five of us are together. We’re open to the idea, although we’re not sure when that will happen…” (Yoochun)

- Do you have any special plans for Christmas?

“None of us have girlfriends… I think us three will be getting together for some soju.”

DBSK Changmin wrote himself a letter

To Shim Changmin:

You always wish to have a modest appearance. Although it can be said to be a postive aspect of you, but on the other hand, there are times when you show a complete opposite side, so there are often times when you worry about yourself… but recently, I’ve started to have the mindset of appreciating myself and to be proud of myself, so it can be considered a really lucky thing.

Although in the past, it was exactly as what everyone said: I used to live while looking inward and constantly stressing out, making it harder for myself… but in future, I want to have more faith in myself and live my life like that… Didn’t I have the misguided thinking that I was born without a choice on who my parents would be? So, work harder!

Even though I said before: The old me faced many different choices, but the present and future me, will still have many choices that I have to face. In future, no matter what I encounter, no matter who I have to stand before, I want to do the right thing and make the correct choice like I have done so far. Also, as long as I can become a person who stands firm with the right choices I make, that would be good. Of course, I might feel tired because of these choices and I might encounter many difficult things… but if that is the price I have to pay in making the right choice, even if I have to accept punishment, I will break through all these difficulties and ultimately receive wisdom and knowledge.

I think this attitude I have towards life is something I learned from my parents. Although I still have to learn to face up to reality, but no matter how difficult it is, if I cannot make a right choice then I’ll have to shake off those options decisively, and from that, become a wiser, more knowledgeable and confident me. In future, won’t there be choices that will make me become like that? Haven’t I become an artist now? To be an artist as an occupation… Although I’ve been an artist for a few years, even though there are still many things that I don’t fully understand, but I still show my candid side when I appear in front of everyone. There’s also a side of me that even I don’t know about; aren’t there times where I also have to show a side of myself that is not me?

To be honest, this is not something that I dreamed about when I was a child… Who I am now… I often have this thought… “If I’m not doing what I’m doing now, what else can I do? Would I have become a son that constantly causes his parents to worry?” The things that I am doing now may not make people feel exceptionally proud or seem fulfilling. However, don’t I still pass each day happily, looking forward to a better tomorrow?

It allowed me to see a beautiful world that I didn’t know about and awakened the person that I am now… Teacher Lee Soo Man… SM Family still holds the same gratitude in our hearts, so never change^^ If you are still the person that you are now, the heartfelt gratitude we have towards you will never change…

Now I’m also in my twenties… Compared to others who are of the same age, I had to start working a little earlier and I didn’t get to experience the things that they went through… But isn’t there a saying, “you gain something when you lose something”, this phrase is not said without reason. I always do my utmost best to fulfil my responsibilities to try and carve an even better future for myself. I want to expand further, so let me continue to better myself.

When I think of that I will do everything passionately… even though there are many people in the world who look at me enviously… Instead of always trying to hide from these prying eyes, I think I should do things that are honest to what I really feel and to have a youth which is filled with passionate love when I date someone! Even though it’s not an easy task and there might be failures… but I can experience the feelings and passion that belong to my age… I don’t want to miss a thing. I think this is a way to make me work harder to become even more passionate… Even if I fail, I still think this way… Career and love… Like what I said before, I don’t want to miss out on anything anymore… But, if I make a mistake when it comes to relationships, it will become even more dangerous…

In order to have better judgement, I will make decisive choices with a judgement that is as sharp as a blade. I will become a youth that is even more passionate and hardworking than others… I’ll work hard to be even more passionate and rational…

Let’s always work hard…
