Taegoon released 'Rising Star'

Taegoon has released his second mini album entitled Rising Star, along with a sexy hawt MV for the album's title song - Superstar.

Korea's most anticiptated new singer, Taegoon, said that TVXQ's Jaejoong has strong willpower, considering him a real senior.

Last 11th of July, Taegoon held a fanmeeting and concert in Japan, and before this fanmeeting happened, there was a short interview.

- The MV of your debut song "Call Me" had TVXQ's Jaejoong as part of the cast. Please talk about your experience.
I called Jaejoong on the phone and said, "I'm going to film my MV, please do come and help." (laughs) To me, I didn't know how good it was to be cast on an MV, but because Jaejoong was my best friend, I didn't think much about it, but the people around me kept on saying, "Jaejoong is going to be on the MV!" On the day of filming, we filmed, but played then headed home. (laughs)

- With regards to your Japan debut, how will you look at TVXQ and Big Bang activities?
I wish to learn more about Japan's music, therefore, I would like to have people seeing me dance with smiles and happiness. And besides, TVXQ and Big Bang are my seniors (laughs). Calling Jaejoong that gives me another feeling. (laughs) Their song and dance are the best, aren't they? Jaejoong is my best friend, but as an artist, he's my senior (laughs) and I respect him very much much. During the "Call Me" promotions, Jaejoong called and scolded me on the phone. He's always helping me, as a strong-willed senior. For a Korean star to be having such success in Japan, I feel that they're Korea's pride.

TaeGoon,will release a new minialbum

TaeGoon, who debuted with the song ‘Call Me’ last January, will release a new minialbum soon. And ahead of that, a teaser video has ‘As Insignificant as you’ has been revealed on 6th May.

The video has already become the topic amongst netizens. This song is written and composed by songwriter Wheesung.

TaeGoon, “For this album, I received some lessons from Wheesung seonbae. And now I’m more confident with my singing.” TaeGoon’s company also provided that TaeGoon has been practising up to 8 hours for his dancing skills everyday.

His new MV will be revealed on 13th May on various online portal sites.

There has been recently a craze amongst netizens to post up ‘MR removed’ videos on the internet which also led to many comparing the vocal powers of various singers.

TaeGoon, “I dropped out of University 1st year to fulfil my dream as a singer

Newcomer singer TaeGoon revealed that he had actually dropped out of 1st year of university to fulfil his dreams as a singer.

He said in an interview recently, “If I had continued with my first year in school, I would not have become a singer. I was 20 then. So I thought I should stop school.”

TaeGoon has actually liked dancing since he was in secondary school. After which he had entered Korea Arts School taking dance as his major. But because of his participation on ‘Battle ShinHwa’, he had to drop school.

TaeGoon, “I never regretted my decision. If I had been eliminated from ‘Battle ShinHwa’, I may had become a real pitiful child, but I feel I will get more out of it. Until then, I had been a child protected under the wings of his parents dreaming to be a singer, but after participating on the program I really experienced what it is like in the society.”

“I had been hurt many times too. But having participated on the show, I had made many connections with people who had took care of me well. Even though I was picked from the show for doing very well, I thought there were many of my friends on the show who did better than me. I am someone who can’t just shake off my feelings and let things just pass.”
