A reporter asked Kim Bum how he dealt with criticism from viewers who have trouble sympathizing with the character he portrays on TV. In response, Kim Bum replied: “I cut off my ethernet cord few days ago,” revealing his ongoing struggle dealing with critics.

Kim Bum went onto say: “In the beginning, I didn’t really pay attention to what people said, but one day, I started taking notice… As I grow as an actor, and am able to give my best, I would be more open to criticism. I look forward to showing my fans more of my work in the future”
