The nominee list for the awards was announced on 2nd December. Dong Bang Shin Ki are nominated for the Excellence award and Big Bang is nominated for the newcomer award. Also, GDragon’s collaboration with W-inds for the song ‘Rain is Fallin’ is also up for the Excellence award.
Both Dong Bang Shin Ki and Big Bang were awarded the Golden Artiste award previously on Best Hits Awards 2009 aired previously on 26th November.
The song nominated for the Excellence Award by Dong Bang Shin KI is the song ‘Stand By Up’ released in July. This single sold over 200K copies and received the Gold Record from Japan Record Associaition. This song is nominated alongside other hits from other singers like Koda Kumi, Exile etc
Meanwhile, Big Bang has been up for the newcomer award just 5 months after they debuted with the song ‘My Heaven’. They are up for the newcomer awards against singers like Sakura Maya, Scandal etc.
The award ceremony will take place on the coming 30th.
