Micheal Jackson died on June 25th in Los Angeles after cardiac arrest. He was 50 and leaves behind 3 children.
The “King of Pop” was planning his comeback in London, England with 50 shows in July 2009.
We will remember him for not only his phenomenal talent as a performer but also for the fact that he loved bibimbap (Ask any Korean and they will confirm this tidbit of information).
In response to his death, the Korean pop acts are tweeting their condolences and releasing statements:
JYP via Twitter:The 1st album that I ever bought was Micheal Jackson’s ‘Off the wall’. That became the definition of music to me. At least 50% of me is him
BoA via Twitter: “Rest in peace Michael Jackson. I’m going to miss you so much…I’m so sad right now”
Rain was at Incheon International airport heading to Macau when he heard the news: “He was the teacher and the inspiration to me dancing. Even though he is no longer with us, he will always be the best performer on stage…
Wheesung via interview with IS sports online: The news is as shocking as the announcement of war… his death will effect musicians all around the world-including me.
