But that was dismissed by Junki himself as he blogged about it on his Cyworld and explained how the rumor might have occured in the first place.

With the entry titled, "What singer activities", Junki explained, "I am indeed preparing a lot of stuff right now but that has been misreported by the media who must have thought I was going to debut as a singer. I hope that such things will not happen again in future."

Lee Junki's management agency also confirmed that Lee Junki has no plans to debut as a singer in the near future. A company representative expressed, "Junki is indeed working on something with producer Kim Hyung Suk. But that is for preparation ahead of Junki's 2nd fan meeting Episode 2, after Episode 1 in 2006. He wants to make it an even better event for himself and his fans but that seems to have been misintepreted by the media as his plans for becoming a singer." Episode 2 will take place on his 27th birthday on 17th April.

Besides being known for his exceptional acting talent, Lee Junki has also been showing that he can equally cut it as an entertainer outside of his comfort zone. This could be evidently seen at his first fan meeting, Episode 1 in 2006 and the AnyStar commercial with Lee Hyori where he showed off his incredible dancing ability to the delight of his fans.
